Today the daycare kiddos and I are focusing on the birds...refilling bird feeders(5), making sure bird baths are all clean and filled (2), and planting sunflower seeds so that when they grow, we will have more seeds for the birds. Each of the birdhouses are full of nesting materials...so we know we can expect lots of new additions to our family soon. We have been observing two small cardinals "fixing up" the nest on our carport that in previous years has been occupied by morning doves, and once Blue Jays.
