Our Lunchables Jr. Playdate Sampling #Crowdtappers

As a member of Crowdtap, I was given the opportunity to do a Lunchables Jr. Playdate sampling. They sent me 2 out of the 4 varieties available: Very Beary Crunch, which includes Ritz Bits Cheese Cracker sandwiches, strawberry flavored dried apple pieces, and Teddy Grahams honey graham snacks and also Ants on a Log, which includes peanut butter, Sun-Maid Raisins and Honey Graham sticks.

Well, being the grandmother to 5, and an in home childcare provider, I had to pick 2 children to do the sampling playdate, so I chose our 3 year old granddaughter, Audryna, and 7 year old daycare kiddo, "J".

They were both really excited to try the new snack. Once I explained what each item was, they dug in, and the fun part for me, was watching "J" show Audryna how she could put the peanut butter on her honey graham sticks, then add her raisins to make the "ants on a log", which also encouraged an in depth conversation about ants that she has smashed on Grandma's carport.

Besides the interesting conversations going on, it was nice to see how they each shared their snacks, and mixed and matched the items together. I really like the choices in the packages, and I know I will be purchasing more of these to have on hand for future snack times with the children.
When "J" was done, and ready to go outside with the other kids, I thought it was very sweet that my granddaughter picked up both packages, with what was left in them, and came out to share with her older sister, Katelyn, who is 6 years old.

Something that I was very impressed with about the Lunchables Jr. snacks we tried, there was no chocolate involved.  When you have a granddaughter, (my 18 month old Lexcyee) that is highly allergic to chocolate, it becomes your top priority to make sure you have lots of fun snacks that she can enjoy also. But I have found that a lot of kid oriented snacks in the stores, tend to have some sort of chocolate included, and its very difficult to find things that are safe for her, as well as delicious!  I am anxious to go out and get all 4 varieties to share with my grandchildren and daycare kiddos!

Do you think your kiddos would enjoy these Lunchables Jr. snacks?
